The Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Division, as of this May, has implemented over 92 per cent of the projects under the Revised Annual Development Programme (RADP) for the fiscal year 2021-22.
This was revealed at a review meeting on progress of the RADP projects, held at the ICT Division conference centre, a statement said.
ICT State Minister Zunaid Ahmed Palak attended the meeting as the chief guest, while ICT Senior Secretary N M Zeaul Alam presided over it.
Chiefs of various agencies under the ICT Division, including the Bangladesh Hi-Tech Park Authority and the Bangladesh Computer Council, as well as various project officials attended the programme.
The meeting discussed progress and implementation of various projects, their month-wise actual and financial target achievement, and recruitment of human resources.
The statement said the projects under the RADP had been accomplished by 92.85 per cent as of May.
There were 31 projects, including three technical ones, under the ICT Division -taken at a cost of over Tk 13.05 billion.
Some of the projects under the agency include IT or hi-tech park establishment, Sheikh Russell Digital Lab, Info Sarkar-3, Bangabandhu Hi-Tech City-2 infrastructure development, Aspire to Innovate (A2I) Programme, Sheikh Kamal IT Training and Incubation Centre Establishment, and Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Hi-Tech Park Rajshahi (1st Amendment) Project.
