MASTUL Foundation held its 5th Shariah Board Meeting in Dhaka, reaffirming its commitment to ensuring all organisational activities are conducted in full compliance with Shariah principles, transparency, and accountability.
The meeting brought together prominent Islamic scholars, muftis, and researchers to review the Foundation’s Shariah governance framework, Zakat and charitable fund management, and future humanitarian initiatives.
Mufti Imaduddin (Hafizahullah), Mufti and Senior Muhaddith at Jami’a Arabia Imdadul Uloom, Faridabad, attended as the chief guest.
The keynote address was delivered by Dr Muhammad Nur-e-Alam Siddiqui, Associate Professor of Arabic at the University of Dhaka.
Special guests included Shaykh Nurul Islam bin Ismail, Chairman of the MASTUL Foundation Shariah Board, and Mufti Mujahid Islam, a board member.
Addressing the meeting, Shaykh Nurul Islam bin Ismail said the Shariah Board is responsible for ensuring that all Foundation activities comply with the Qur’an and Sunnah.
He said the Board regularly provides guidance, supervision, and evaluation to ensure that Zakat, Sadaqah, donations, and humanitarian programs are managed with transparency, accountability, and full Shariah compliance.
Mufti Imaduddin (Hafizahullah) praised MASTUL Foundation for strengthening its Shariah governance, saying the initiative reflects the organisation’s commitment to ethical humanitarian work and helps build public confidence by safeguarding donors’ trust.
The meeting was attended by Islamic scholars, muftis, researchers, and academics from leading madrasas and universities, including representatives from the University of Dhaka, Manarat International University, and other renowned Islamic institutions.
The meeting concluded with a special du’a for the nation, donors, beneficiaries, and MASTUL Foundation, with participants reaffirming their commitment to delivering humanitarian services in a Shariah-compliant, transparent, and accountable manner.
