Pathao, one of Bangladesh’s leading digital platforms, is celebrating its 10th anniversary in 2025. To mark this milestone, the book ‘Ogrojatrar Ogrodoot’, a collection of stories reflecting the impact of Pathao over the years, was unveiled at the Amar Ekushey Book Fair on Sunday (February 16), says a press release.
Over the past decade, Pathao has woven countless inspiring stories into the lives of many. Whether it is about a dedicated food delivery person, a vibrant restaurant, an enterprising business owner, or a diligent delivery agent, these narratives highlight their remarkable journeys. Amidst these stories of perseverance and innovation, there are shining examples of individuals who move forward, break new ground, and set benchmarks for others. Those involved with Pathao continue to craft exceptional stories, showcasing the platform's transformative impact, according to the release.
The newly-launched ‘Ogrojatrar Ogrodoot’ highlights the exceptional contributions of individuals who are not only shaping their own futures but also setting new benchmarks in their industries.
The book, which reflects the growth of Pathao over the past ten years, was launched at a ceremony at the Ekushey Book Fair on Sunday, which was attended by Shafiqul Alam, Press Secretary to the Chief Adviser, Fahim Ahmed, CEO of Pathao, and other officials.
In his speech, Shafiqul Alam, the guest of honour, said, “Our remarkable rise has been significantly driven by Pathao’s immense contribution as a corporate house. I was reading the book Ogrojatrar Ogrodoot—the stories are truly inspiring. I believe that if Pathao encourages and collects daily diary entries from everyone connected with the platform in the coming years, it would feel like documenting Pathao’s journey every single day.”
Pathao CEO Fahim Ahmed said, “Pathao is stepping into its 10th year this year. We are delivering digital services across the country through our platform. The story of Pathao is not just about Pathao or its services—it's about all the people connected with us, who are not only availing services but also providing them, driving their lives forward and improving their quality of life. The stories of being pioneers in progress are the stories of all of us connected with Pathao.”
‘Ogrojatrar Ogrodoot’, published by Student Ways, is available not only at the book fair but also on several online platforms, including Pathao Shop, Bookworm, Rokomari, Baatighar, and PBS in pavilion 10 and at the Student Ways stall. The book will also be available in bookstores across the country.
Founded in 2015, Pathao has built a digital infrastructure that empowers people, creates opportunities, and enriches lives. As Bangladesh’s largest digital services platform and a leader in ride-sharing, food delivery, and e-commerce logistics, Pathao serves over 10 million users, 300,000 drivers and delivery agents, 200,000 merchants, and 10,000 restaurants. With over 500,000 job opportunities created, Pathao continues to significantly contribute to the country’s digital economy.
