Mohammad Helal Uddin, a professor at the Department of Economics at the University of Dhaka, has joined as the executive vice chairman of the Microcredit Regulatory Authority (MRA).
On October 9, the Financial Institutions Division of the Ministry of Finance issued a notification, appointing Mohammad Helal Uddin as MRA’s executive vice chairman for the next three years.
According to a press release, officials of the authority welcomed the eminent academic and researcher when he joined the office on Monday.
