Unilever Bangladesh Limited (UBL) has won the ‘Most Sustainable Company of the Year’ and ‘Most Sustainable FMCG Company of the Year’ titles at the SDG Brand Champion Awards 2026.
The company has also won the SDG Brand Champion award in the Sustainable Partnerships and Institutions category for its ‘Shohojatra: Co-Creating Impact’ initiative. With honourable mentions in two additional categories, Unilever Bangladesh has received a total of five honours at this year’s event, according to a press release.
Organised by Bangladesh Brand Forum as part of the Bangladesh Sustainable Summit, the SDG Brand Champion Awards recognise organisations that advance the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) through responsible business practices, innovation, collaboration and measurable impact.
In addition to securing the three winning honours, Unilever Bangladesh received honourable mentions in the Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure category for ‘Smart Customer Logistics & Trade’ and the Responsible Consumption and Production category for ‘U-Refill 2.0 and Reengineering Packaging’.
These recognitions highlight Unilever Bangladesh’s efforts to build effective partnerships, advance innovation across its operations and promote more responsible models of consumption and production. Through these initiatives, the company collaborates with government institutions, development organisations, communities and other partners to create scalable and lasting impact.
The awards were received on behalf of Unilever Bangladesh by Syeda Durdana Kabir, Human Resources Director, and Shadman Sadikin, Customer Business Development Head, in the presence of business leaders, development partners and sustainability experts, the release adds.
