Ad-din Medical College Hospital in Moghbazar, Dhaka, has received approval to resume its healthcare services after remaining closed for 45 days.
Following the reinstatement of its licence by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, the hospital will reopen all medical services, including outpatient, inpatient and emergency care, from 8:00 a.m. on Tuesday, July 28.
The Ministry of Health and Family Welfare returned the hospital’s licence and granted permission to resume operations on Monday (July 27).
The approval was issued through an official order signed by Md. Kamruzzaman Chowdhury, Secretary of the Health Services Division under the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, vide Memo No. 45.00.0000.000.163.27.0014.26 (Part-2).103.
In a statement issued after the licence was reinstated, the Ad-din authorities expressed gratitude to Almighty Allah for the development.
They also extended sincere thanks to the government, the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, the Directorate General of Health Services, patients, political leaders, physicians, professional organisations, lawyers, journalists, media personalities, social media activists, well-wishers and all others who supported the institution during this period.
The statement further conveyed special appreciation to everyone who spoke out in support of Ad-din and stood by the hospital throughout the suspension.
