Sonali Bank PLC launched a nationwide awareness campaign with the slogan ‘One Country, One QR: Transactions through Bangla QR’ to promote the using Bangla QR and expand digital payment services.
As part of the campaign, Managing Director of Sonali Bank PLC, Md. Shawkat Ali Khan, participated in a promotional drive in Motijheel and Dilkusha areas of the capital on Monday, according to a press release.
Deputy Managing Directors along with other senior executives of the bank present in this occasion.
Introduced by Bangladesh Bank, Bangla QR is a unified QR code-based payment system designed to make digital transactions simpler, safer, and more interoperable, supporting the country’s vision of building a cashless society.
Through this platform, customers of all banks and Mobile Financial Service (MFS) providers can make payments conveniently by scanning a single QR code, regardless of their financial service provider.
