Bangladesh's measles outbreak has claimed three more lives in a day, pushing the overall death toll from the disease and its symptoms to 828.
According to Tuesday's measles bulletin, 95 of those deaths involved confirmed cases, while the remaining 733 died with symptoms of the viral disease.
Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) said Dhaka Division recorded the highest casualties with 320 deaths, followed by Sylhet with 107.
Rajshahi logged 91 deaths, Chattogram 59, Barishal 44, Mymensingh 69, Khulna 32 and Rangpur eight.
Up to 8am on Tuesday, 105 new measles cases were confirmed over the previous 24 hours.
During the same period, 799 people with symptoms sought treatment at hospitals across the country, with 787 admitted.
Hospitals in Dhaka Division admitted 233 patients, followed by Chattogram with 215, Barishal 130, Sylhet 77, Mymensingh 45, Khulna 43, Rajshahi 31 and Rangpur 13.
The total number of hospital admissions linked to measles has now reached 108,441.
Of them, 104,235 patients have recovered and returned home.
Bangladesh began seeing a surge in measles cases at the start of the year, with the outbreak spreading across the country by late February.
The health directorate has been compiling outbreak data since Mar 15.
According to the World Health Organisation (WHO), more than 25,000 children were infected during a measles outbreak in 2005.
