World Meditation Day to be observed on Sunday

The World Meditation Day will be observed in the country as elsewhere of the globe tomorrow (Sunday) to inspire people in practicing meditation for becoming fit physically, mentally, socially and spiritually.

The Quantum Foundation has chalked out an elaborate programme to observe the day taking into account the necessity of the meditation prescribed by physicians. 

On the occasion, special programmes will be held at National Press Club and Ramna Park at 6:00am.

Different professionals including media personalities, journalists, doctors, are expected to attend it.

The programmes include breathing, yoga, meditation and autosuggestion practices which will also be held simultaneously in around 100 parks and open spaces in home and abroad with the theme ‘good soul good soil Bangladesh a land of paradise’. 

Recently, Directorate of Health included meditation as alternative treatment in the health service which the physicians have welcomed.

On this occasion, 100,000 people will join meditation at 6:00am in home and abroad.
