Sheltech Ceramics Ltd (SCL) has recently won two awards at the SDG Brand Champion Awards 2026 in recognition of its sustainability initiatives and efforts to promote economic growth in Bhola, according to a press release Tuesday.

The ceramic tile manufacturer received the "Decent Work and Economic Growth" award and an Honourable Mention in the "Most Sustainable Real Estate Company of the Year – Building Materials Company" category.

The company won the "Decent Work and Economic Growth" award for its initiative, "Progress Through People: Transforming Bangladesh's Largest Island". The recognition highlights the company's efforts to integrate sustainable business practices with local employment, skills development and long-term community engagement in Bhola, where its manufacturing facility is located.
According to the company, the achievement reflects its efforts to integrate sustainable business practices with community development and its belief that long-term business success goes hand in hand with the progress of the people and communities it serves.
SCL also received an Honourable Mention for its documentary, "Crafting Tomorrow: Transforming Bangladesh's Largest Island", which highlights how responsible industrial development can contribute to the social, economic and environmental progress of local communities.
The company said the recognition reinforces its commitment to advancing the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) through responsible manufacturing, community development and sustainable growth.
Syed Ali Abdullah Jami, Director of Sales and Marketing at Sheltech Ceramics Ltd, received the awards on behalf of the company.
