Biman Bangladesh announces additional flights to Rajshahi, Syedpur, Cox’s Bazar for Eid-ul-Azha

Biman Bangladesh Airlines has announced additional flights on domestic routes ahead of Eid-ul-Azha to accommodate the expected surge in holiday travel.
In a press release issued on Friday, the flag carrier said it will operate extra flights from Dhaka to Rajshahi and Syedpur in the north, and to Cox’s Bazar in the south, alongside its regular schedule.
Biman spokesperson ABM Rowshan Kabir said that four additional flights will be operated on the Dhaka-Syedpur route and three on the Dhaka-Rajshahi route.
As for Cox’s Bazar, the number of extra flights is yet to be finalised, as many people also travel there for leisure during the Eid holidays. A decision is expected over the weekend.
According to the current plan, the additional flights on the Dhaka-Syedpur-Dhaka route are scheduled for 2, 5, and 6 June, while the Dhaka-Rajshahi-Dhaka route will see extra flights on Jun 2, 3, and 5
An additional flight on the Dhaka-Cox’s Bazar-Dhaka route has been scheduled for Jun 9.
The updated schedules have already been uploaded to Biman’s booking system, and tickets are now available across all sales channels, the airline said.
Passengers can book tickets through Biman’s sales outlets, official website, mobile app, or by calling the hotline at 13636.
Tickets are also available through IATA-approved travel agencies and authorised agents.
