Chief Adviser condemns terrorist attack in Kashmir

Chief Adviser Professor Muhammad Yunus on Wednesday condemned the recent terrorist attack in India’s Kashmir, killing at least 26 people.

He also expressed deep condolences over the loss of lives in the attack, reports BSS.

In a message posted on his Facebook page, Prof Yunus said, “Excellency, please accept my deepest condolences over the loss of life resulting from the terrorist attack that took place in Kashmir’s Phalgam.”

“We strongly condemn this heinous act. Let me reaffirm Bangladesh’s resolute stand against terrorism,” he added.

Armed men opened fire on a group of tourists in Indian-administered Kashmir, killing at least 26 people, according to Indian police.

Multiple tourists received gunshot wounds in the “terror attack” on Tuesday while they were visiting Baisaran meadow, about 5km from the disputed region’s resort town of Pahalgam.
