Govt committed to highest standard of care for plane crash victims: Health Adviser

Health Adviser Nurjahan Begum on Saturday reaffirmed the government’s commitment to ensuring the highest standard of medical care for those injured in the Milestone plane crash, pledging full support throughout their recovery journey.

She made the statement during a visit to the Combined Military Hospital (CMH) in Dhaka, where several victims of the crash— which occurred at Milestone School and College in Uttara — are currently undergoing treatment.

During the visit, the Health Adviser inquired about the condition of each patient, held detailed discussions with the attending physicians, and reviewed the overall progress of care. At present, eight patients injured in the incident are receiving treatment at CMH.

“The government is fully committed to providing the best possible medical care to the injured. The Ministry of Health will extend all necessary medical support,” said Nurjahan Begum.

She also commended the efforts of the doctors and healthcare workers involved in the treatment, expressing gratitude for their service and wishing the injured a swift and full recovery.
