India is eagerly waiting for the visit of Bangladesh Prime Minister Tarique Rahman, said the new Indian High Commissioner Dinesh Trivedi on Wednesday.
Talking to the reporters after his first meeting with Foreign Minister Dr Khalilur Rahman, the HC said that India has invited the Bangladesh PM to attend the BRICS summit to be held in Delhi in August.
Now it’s his prerogative, but we are eagerly waiting for his visit, he said in response to a question.
Regarding Teesta and Ganges water sharing issues, he said all bilateral problems can be solved through dialogue.
