The National Youth Day is being observed across the country in a befitting manner on Friday.
The theme of the day this year is ‘Skilled youth building the country, Bangabandhu’s Bangladesh’.
A colourful youth rally was brought out from in front of Sheikh Russel Roller Skating Complex in the capital around 8:00am.
Besides, a youth fair will be held at the Shilpakala Academy premises from November 2 to November 8, reports UNB.
Twenty-two self-employed young men and 27 people from five youth organisations will be given the National Youth Award on that day.
Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will hand over the awards as the chief guest.
