Nazrul Study Centre established at RU

Rajshahi University (RU) has established a "Nazrul Study Centre" for the first time, with the aim of promoting the literature, music, and philosophy of National Poet Kazi Nazrul Islam.

RU Vice-Chancellor (VC) Professor Dr. Saleh Hasan Naqib inaugurated the centre on Monday at the university's Kazi Nazrul Islam Auditorium. He expressed his pride and joy over the inauguration of the centre, adding, "The establishment of the Nazrul Study Centre is the result of our long-term efforts. It will further enrich the cultural and intellectual practices."

Pro VC (Academic) Professor Dr. Farid Uddin Khan, Registrar Prof Dr. Iftekhar Alam Masud, Public Relations Administrator Prof Dr. Akhtar Hossain Mazumder, Proctor Prof Dr. Mahbubur Rahman, and Printing Press Administrator Dr. Mahfuzur Rahman Akand, among others, attended the event.
