Gonoforum Emeritus President Dr Kamal Hossain has undergone a minor surgery at Square Hospital in the capital, according to UNB.
Gonoforum's Acting President Advocate Subrata Chowdhury said Dr Kamal was admitted to the hospital on Sunday with urinary problems and some age-related complications, and later underwent a minor surgery.
"He is recovering well after the surgery," Subrata said.
On behalf of Dr Kamal, he urged all to pray for the veteran politician and jurist's quick recovery.
Subrata Chowdhury also said Dr Kamal may be discharged from the hospital on Wednesday.
