Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) has forecast rain or thundershowers in all divisions including Dhaka of the country in 24 hours commencing 9:00 am on Sunday.

“Light to moderate rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty or squally wind is likely to occur at most places over Rajshahi, Dhaka, Khulna, Barishal and Mymensingh divisions and at many places over Rangpur, Chattogram and Sylhet divisions with moderately heavy to very heavy falls at places over the country,” said a met office update.

The country’s highest 223mm of rainfall was recorded in Patuakhali in 24 hours till 6:00 am on Sunday, reports UNB.

Day and night temperatures may remain nearly unchanged over the country, according to the BMD.

The country’s highest temperature was recorded in Sylhet at 33.6 degree Celsius over the past 24 hours till 6:00 pm Saturday while the lowest temperature 23.6 degree Celsius was recorded in Jashore till 6:00 am on Sunday.
