Robbers looted valuables from a house at Genda Rajbari in Savar on early Thursday.
Police said a gang of robbers entered the house of Nur Mohammad, a Saudi expatriate, breaking open the window grill on the 2nd floor of a five-story building and looted valuables including Tk 0.15 million (1.5 lakh) cash and 30 tolas of gold ornaments.
Mohsinul Quader, Officer-in-Charge of Savar Model Police Station, said the house inmates were not at home during the robbery.
On information, police visited the spot, reports UNB.
