The government has promoted three additional secretaries to the rank of secretary.

Additional secretary of home affairs ministry Md Ataur Rahman Khan has been promoted to the rank of secretary and posted to commerce ministry as secretary.
Divisional commissioner (additional secretary) of Mymensingh division Farah Shammi was promoted as the secretary of coordination and reforms of the cabinet division.
Additional secretary of agriculture ministry Nasir-ud-Doula has been promoted to the rank of secretary and posted to the trade and tariff commission as chairman (secretary).
Besides, the government has attached secretary of information and communication division Kazi Anwar Hossain to the ministry of public administration.
The orders issued for the public interest will come into effect immediately, notifications said.
