Al Nassr secured a 3-1 victory over Al-Raed on Saturday, with their clinical performance in front of the goal proving to be the game-changer. Despite a lacklustre first half, the match saw a dramatic turn of events that shifted the tide in Al Nassr's favour.

The opening half failed to deliver the quality football expected from both sides. Luis Castro's squad struggled to control the game, leaving ample spaces for their opponents to exploit. The dynamic duo of Tavares and Sayoud consistently troubled Laporte and Al Lajami with their remarkable pace and skill.

It was Sadio Mane who ultimately shouldered the responsibility for Al Nassr. Just before halftime, Mane delivered a well-executed goal that breathed life into the game.

However, the pivotal moment occurred only a minute later when Al-Raed's defender Whaesi received a red card, courtesy of Mane's relentless pursuit towards the goal.

The second half witnessed the entrance of Cristiano Ronaldo, who had been initially left out of the starting lineup. Nonetheless, Anderson Talisca, formerly of Benfica, stole the spotlight with a left-footed rocket into the top corner of the net, further cementing Al Nassr's lead.

While visibly frustrated by his lack of chances, Ronaldo finally found his moment in the 78th minute. The Portuguese sensation showcased his brilliance with a splendid solo effort, scoring his seventh goal of the season in the Saudi Pro League.

Ronaldo expertly cut inside onto his left foot before unleashing a powerful strike, leaving the opposition goalkeeper with no chance.

Although Al-Raed managed to salvage a consolation goal late in the match through a panenka from their captain, Fouzair, it proved to be too little too late to alter the outcome.
