In a thrilling final of the Men's U-19 Asia Cup Cricket, Bangladesh defeated India by 59 runs to claim their second consecutive title.
The match, held at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium, saw India winning the toss and opting to bowl first. Batting under pressure from the Indian bowlers, Bangladesh's batters struggled to score freely. They were dismissed for 198 runs in 49.1 overs.
In response, Bangladesh's bowlers delivered a controlled and disciplined performance, putting constant pressure on the Indian batsmen. India lost wickets at regular intervals and was eventually bowled out for 139 runs in just 35.2 overs.
With this victory, Bangladesh's U-19 cricket team clinched their second consecutive title, having also won the 2023 U-19 Asia Cup in Dubai, where they defeated hosts UAE to claim their first-ever title.
