65th Zonal Managers and Zonal Audit Officers Conference 2025 held at Grameen Bank

With the theme "Economic emancipation of the poor shall be our commitment", the two-day 65th Zonal Managers and Zonal Audit Officers Conference 2025 was held at the Grameen Bank Head Office Auditorium on Friday, 11 July 2025.

The conference was attended by Professor Dr. Abdul Hannan Chowdhury, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Grameen Bank, as the chief guest, according to a press release. 

Also present were Nazneen Sultana, (Director of Grameen Bank), Sarder Akhter Hamed (Managing Director), Syed Motiur Rahman, Deputy Managing Director (Human Resources & Service Management); AKM Sazzad Hossain, Deputy Managing Director (Branch Operations & Monitoring); all executives from the Head Office and the Zonal Managers and Zonal Audit Officers from 40 zones.

The conference discussed the overall operations of all zonal and audit offices of Grameen Bank across the country and provided necessary guidance.

At the event, Chairman Dr. Abdul Hannan Chowdhury stated, "Alongside improving technological skills, we must move toward cashless transactions. To achieve this, initiatives will be taken to disburse loans and collect installments through our own app."

Director Nazneen Sultana said, "Grameen Bank is a unique example of women's empowerment worldwide. We must continue our journey upholding unity, action and discipline and move forward with full vigor."

Managing Director Sarder Akhter Hamed remarked, "With the united efforts of colleagues at all levels, starting from the field level, we will overcome various challenges and continue to uphold the legacy of a transparent and prosperous Grameen Bank in the future. Ensuring this is our commitment."
