BRAC Bank partners with Ascent Health to bring healthcare benefits to co-workers, cardholders

BRAC Bank has entered into a partnership with Ascent Health Limited, extending discounted pathological tests for samples collected at home as well as consultation chambers to its coworkers and debit and credit cardholders across the country.

Under the agreement, all BRAC Bank employees and their legal dependents — including spouses, children, parents, and in-laws will receive a 30 per cent discount on pathological tests for home-collected samples and consultation chamber visits, according to a press release.

BRAC Bank debit and credit cardholders, and their legal dependents, will enjoy a 25 per cent discount on these services. Both groups will also gain access to specialist consultations spanning Internal Medicine, Respiratory Medicine, Rheumatology, Dermatology, Nephrology, Physical Medicine, Neurology, Gynaecology, Pediatrics, and more.

The agreement was signed on 23 April 2026 at BRAC Bank's Head Office. Md. Mahiul Islam, Deputy Managing Director and Head of Retail Banking; Khairuddin Ahmed Bappy, Head of Merchant Acquiring; Md. Ashraful Alam, Head of Alliances, Retail Banking, and other senior officials, represented the bank. Ascent Health Limited was represented by Anwarul Iqbal, Chief Executive Officer; Amer Ahmed, Director of Business Development, Ascent Group; and Mohammad Kamruzzaman, Deputy General Manager of Sales – Corporate & B2C.

Commenting on the partnership, Md. Mahiul Islam, Deputy Managing Director and Head of Retail Banking at BRAC Bank, said: "BRAC Bank believes that our responsibility to our people and customers extends well beyond financial services.
