City Bank and American Express on Monday announced the launch of The City Alo American Express® Credit Card, the bank’s first contactless credit card.
Designed, especially for the modern, independent, women business executives of Bangladesh, the card seeks to open new frontiers for women in financial management, according to a statement issued on Monday.
The City Alo American Express® Card provides a host of valuable benefits for cardholders.
A contactless credit card offers customers a one-tap payment facility of up to BDT 3,000.
The card also comes with welcome offers, giving cardmembers a chance to earn BDT 1000 savings at Sheba.xyz, a popular on-demand household service provider, or at Persona Beauty Parlour and a one-night stay at Green View Golf Resort.
This latest addition to City Bank’s vast portfolio was unveiled through a press meet at The City Alo Flagship Branch in Gulshan Avenue in the city on Sunday.
City Bank’s Vice Chairman Hossain Khaled, Directors Tabassum Kaiser, Rafiqul Islam Khan and American Express’s Director for Global Network Services, South Asia, Kurush Dastoor were present at the launching event. Among others, high-ups from the two organisations also attended the event.
