SBAC Bank signs deal to participate in Bangladesh Bank Refinance Fund

SBAC Bank PLC has signed an agreement to participate in the Bangladesh Bank Refinance Fund of Tk 3,000 crore to the Cluster Financing Scheme for the CMSME sector, aimed at accelerating economic growth, according to a press release.

In the presence of Ms. Nurun Nahar, Deputy Governor of Bangladesh Bank; Mr. S. M. Mainul Kabir, Managing Director and CEO and Mr. Nawshad Mustafa, Director of SME & Special Programmes Department of Central Bank, signed the agreement on behalf of their respective institutions at Jahangir Alam Conference Hall of Bangladesh Bank on Monday.

Among others, Ms. Husne Ara Shikha, Executive Director of the central bank, Mr. Abdul Quaium Chowdhury, Additional Managing Director of SBAC Bank, Md. Abdul Mannan, EVP & Head of Credit Risk Management Division of the Bank and other officials were present in the agreement ceremony.
