The Real Estate and Housing Association of Bangladesh (REHAB) will hold its four-day REHAB Summer Fair 2026 in Dhaka from August 12 to 15, bringing together leading real estate companies, housing-related businesses and financial institutions.

The announcement came on Monday after the inaugural meeting of the REHAB Standing Committee for Press and Media (2026-2028) at the REHAB Secretariat in the capital.

The fair will be held at the Shaheed Abu Sayeed International Convention Centre in Dhaka, where visitors will be able to explore a wide range of housing projects, flats, plots, home loan facilities and investment opportunities under one roof, REHAB said.

The meeting was chaired by Tasnova Mahbub Salam, chairman of the Standing Committee for Press and Media and a REHAB director.

During the meeting, she outlined the committee's priorities, including strengthening coordination with the media, promoting REHAB's activities through positive coverage, expanding its presence on digital platforms, ensuring information-based communication, countering misinformation and implementing future communication plans.

Speaking at the meeting, REHAB President Dr Ali Afzal said responsible and constructive media play a vital role in supporting the development of the housing sector, promoting planned urbanisation and providing accurate information to the public.

He urged the Standing Committee for Press and Media to take a more proactive role in achieving these goals.

Among others present were REHAB Senior Vice-President Abdur Razzak, Vice-President (3) AFM Obaidullah, Vice-President (Finance) Dr Md Harun Or Rashid, Standing Committee for Press and Media Co-Chairpersons Touhida Sultana, M Sakhawat Hossain and Mohammad Mobarak Hossain, along with other committee members.\

The participants shared opinions and recommendations on ensuring the successful organisation of the upcoming fair, strengthening promotional activities and enhancing coordination with news media.
