South Asia Insurance Company Limited has settled a fire insurance claim worth Tk 17.55 million (Tk 1,75,46,340) in favour of M/s Mehek Enterprise, an insured client of the company's VIP Road Branch, according to a press release Tuesday.
The claim cheque was handed over by the company's Chief Executive Officer, Muhammad Nurul Alam Chowdhury, to Abul Hasnat, proprietor of M/s Mehek Enterprise.
Among others present at the cheque handover ceremony were the Branch Manager of Bank Asia's Paltan Branch, Assistant Managing Director and Company Secretary of South Asia Insurance Md Abdur Razzaque, LL.M, ACS, Assistant Managing Director and Head of the Branch Control Department Morshed Hasan, Senior Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer Md Humayun Kabir Shimul, and Deputy Vice President and Head of the Claims and Reinsurance Department Md Mahfuzur Rahman.
