The day-long conference was jointly organised by Bangladesh Freedom Foundation (BFF) and Daffodil International Professional Training Institute (DIPTI) as the Lead Implementation Partner and Promoter, in association with the Human Resources Development Institute (HRDI) and Daffodil International University (DIU). The conference focused on inquiry-based learning, critical thinking, innovative pedagogy, classroom technology, artificial intelligence, and learner-centred science education.

One of the major highlights of the conference was the keynote address by Dr Md. He emphasised that the future of education depends on engaging learners through creativity, innovation, and experiential learning rather than traditional teaching methods. Highlighting the growing role of technology and artificial intelligence in education, he encouraged teachers to become facilitators who inspire students to explore, question, innovate, and solve real-world problems.

The conference was graced by several distinguished education leaders. Professor Dr Khan Moinuddin Al Mahmud Sohel, Director General of the Directorate of Secondary and Higher Education (DSHE), attended as the Chief Guest. Mr Stephen Forbes, Country Director of the British Council Bangladesh, joined as the Special Guest. In his address, the Chief Guest encouraged teachers to think beyond conventional classroom practices and prepare the younger generation with the knowledge, skills, and mindset needed for the future. He emphasized that science education should inspire curiosity, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities among students. The Country Director of the British Council congratulated the organising institutions for taking such a timely initiative and expressed his appreciation for their continued commitment to improving science education in Bangladesh.

The conference concluded with a certificate and recognition ceremony for all participating teachers. Speakers emphasised that continuous professional development for teachers is essential to building a scientifically literate, innovative, and future-ready generation.

The organisers announced that this conference marks the beginning of a long-term national professional development initiative for science teachers. Follow-up learning sessions are scheduled for September and October 2026 to continue supporting teachers with practical strategies, emerging technologies, and innovative classroom practices. The organisers expressed confidence that the initiative will strengthen science teaching across the country, foster collaboration among educators, and contribute significantly to building a culture of innovation and scientific excellence in Bangladesh.
