Anwara Begum, wife of veteran Awami League politician, Advisory Council member, and former Commerce Minister Tofail Ahmed, has passed away.
She died on Thursday at 6:21 pm while undergoing treatment due to age-related complications at Square Hospital in Dhaka.
Tofail Ahmed’s personal assistant, Md Hasnain confirmed the news to the media at around 9:45 pm.
On Friday morning at 10 am, her body will be taken to Koralia village in South Digholdi Union of Bhola, Hasnain said.
