Proactive security measures are must-haves in the face of impending cyberattacks as the power sector in Bangladesh is getting revamped with increased connectivity and high-tech features, such as data centres, smart meters and SCADA, speakers have said.
They came up with the remarks at a seminar at Hotel Le Meridien, Dhaka.
The event, organised by Hoplon Limited, discussed findings from a recent study on the cybersecurity preparedness of Bangladesh Rural Electrification Board (BREB).
