Startup Bangladesh Limited (SBL), a state-owned venture capital company under the ICT Division, and LightCastle Partners, a management consulting firm, have joined hands to strengthen local startup ecosystem.
They will jointly work to enhance Bangladesh's rapidly evolving start-ups by generating data-driven ecosystem insights, promoting investment opportunities, and facilitating stronger connections between startups and global investors.
To this effect, they signed a strategic Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) at a ceremony held at the SBL office at the ICT Tower in the city's Agargaon area on Sunday, a statement said on Monday.
Speaking on the partnership, Nurul Hai, managing director & CEO of Startup Bangladesh Limited, said Bangladesh's startup ecosystem is entering an exciting phase of growth.
Bijon Islam, co-founder and CEO of LightCastle Partners, said Bangladesh presents a compelling opportunity for innovation-driven investment.
