Ayesha Abed Library of BRAC University received The Librarian Times (TLT) Excellence Entrepreneurship Award 2018 (Library of the Year).
Prof Md Akhtaruzzman, Vice Chancellor of DU was present at the programme a Dhaka University (DU) auditorium as chief guest on Friday, according to a media statement.
Prof Md Mahbubur Rahman, Director General, Directorate of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education, also attended the ceremony.
Students and faculty members of information science and library management, library professionals, library association representatives and high government officials were also present.
