Chittagong Independent University held Open Day-Spring 2022 at its campus on Saturday. The event was inaugurated by Vice Chancellor Dr Mahfuzul Hoque Chowdhury. Deans, Advisors, faculty members, registrar, staff members of different departments also attended the programme.
Prior to the beginning of each semester, CIU holds an Open Day to let students and their guardians have a closer view of the university, according to a press release.
In his inaugural speech, VC Dr Mahfuzul Hoque Chowdhury stated that the university has been conducting educational activities in accordance with the rules of the University Grants Commission.
Professor of CIU Business School Dr Mir Mohammed Nurul Absar, also the convener of the programme, conducted the event.
Through this programme, students received various benefits such as spot admission, semester fee waivers, scholarships, career chats, or professional counselling.
