DU begins in-person admission for 2025-26

Dhaka University has started its in-person admission process for undergraduate programmes for the 2025-26 academic session on Monday.

The admission activities will continue until April 9, according to an official notice published on the university's admission website.

As per the instructions, students who have already completed the initial online admission procedures are required to be physically present to finalise their admission process. The in-person admission must be completed at the respective departments or institutes, as well as at the assigned residential halls, within the scheduled dates from April 6 to April 9.

Earlier, the online admission fee payment and preliminary admission process began on March 10, with the deadline for fee submission ending on March 28. After completing the payment, students were instructed to proceed according to their allocated subjects.

The first round of admission tests' results of most of the units have been published by January.

The university authorities have emphasised that all concerned students must complete the admission process within the specified timeframe by first ensuring payment of the admission fee online and then appearing in person at their respective departments or institutes and halls to complete the formalities.
