The Department of Psychology at Jagannath University organized the Freshers’ Orientation Program for the 2025–2026 session (21st batch) with distinguished guests and faculty members in attendance.
Professor Dr. Md. Rais Uddin, Vice-Chancellor of Jagannath University, graced the program as the Chief Guest, according to a media release.
The session was presided over by Professor Dr. Fatema-Tu-Zohra Binte Zaman, Chairman of the Department of Psychology.
Among the special guests were Professor Dr. Kazi Saifuddin, Professor Dr. Asoke Kumar Saha, Professor Dr. Noor Muhammad, and Professor Dr. Muhammad Akram Uzzaman.
The event was moderated by Dr. Rajeka Fardosh Tany.
The floral welcome was given to newly admitted students and introduced them to academic life, faculty members, and future opportunities within the department.
Speakers emphasized academic excellence, personal development, and active participation in university life.
