A daylong information technology workshop was held on Jahangirnagar University (JU) campus on Saturday.
Jahangirnagar University Science Club (JUSC) organised the workshop titled 'Training on Complete Microsoft Office and Latex' at Zahir Raihan auditorium.
JUSC advisor Assistant Professor Fakrul Islam inaugurated the event as the chief guest. He urged the participants to be skilled in using software to keep pace with the modern world.
The event was presided over by JUSC President Shariful Islam.
It was conducted in four sessions that included training on power point and animations, Microsoft word, excel and Latex operating system.
Daffodil University Lecturer Tazim Mohammad Niyamatullah Akond, Shanto Roy and former JUSC president Khondakar Oliullah were the trainers.
JUSC General Secretary Golam Rabbani conducted the sessions participated by about 200 students from 10 different universities, reports UNB.
