Registration for on-campus round of Hult Prize begins

Team registration for the Hult Prize Business Competition has started at University of Chittagong for the fourth time with the challenge of creating more than two thousand jobs by 2024 under the motto 'Getting the world back to work'.
The team registration for the competition started on Monday (January 24) at night through a live event on the Facebook page of Hult Prize at University of Chittagong.Present on the occasion were Abdullah Al Mahmud Taisir, founding campus director of Hult Prize at University of Chittagong 2018-19 and 2019-2020, Towfiq Ahmed Uchsash, lead organiser of Chittagong Impact Summit 2021, Atkia Subat, former campus director and Rezuanul Huq Rafi, current campus director.
Each team must have a minimum of three members and a maximum of four members of university-goers to participate in the competition. All information regarding registration can be found on the Facebook page 'Hult Prize at University of Chittagong'. The registration link will stay open till February 15, 2022.
Rezuanul Huq Rafi, current campus director of Hult Prize Chittagong University, said, "The challenge of Hult Prize this time is different and realistic as compared to other years. In my opinion, students of every department of Chittagong University will have equal opportunity this time. I hope the highest number of students from Chittagong University will participate in our 'On Campus Round' this year and each of them will contribute to create 2,000 jobs from their respective places by 2024. "
Earlier, 321 teams had registered for the Chittagong University on-campus round in this business competition in 2020. As a result, Chittagong University came second in the world in terms of number of team registration. The organisers hope that this number will increase further this year.
The Hult Prize, in partnership with the United Nations, is the world's largest student organisation helping inspire students from more than 3,000 educational institutions in more than 121 countries and create positive impacts around the world by creating good, problem-solving business ideas.
