Three-day 75th anniversary celebration of Notre Dame College kicks off

In celebration of its 75th founding anniversary, Notre Dame College (NDC) on Thursday kicked off a three-day celebration programme on the college premises in Dhaka city.
The day’s programme began with the playing of the national anthem and the hoisting of the national flag.
Apostolic Nuncio to Bangladesh Archbishop Kevin Randall was the chief guest at the opening ceremony.
NDC Principal Hemanto Pius Rozario, CSC delivered the welcome speech at the event.
Superior general congregation of Holy Cross Br Paul Bednarczyk, CSC, and Archbishop of Dhaka Archdiocese and chairman of NDC governing body Bejoy N D’Cruze, OMI delivered a speech of appreciation at the inaugural event.
Former governor of Bangladesh Bank, Dr Atiur Rahman, delivered a speech of inspiration at the event.
