The names of the three winners were declared at a ceremony at Bangladesh Parjatan Corporation, marking the day.

Mohammad Shahid Ahmed, Sristi Hajra and Monica Rahman Swaranika are the members of the first runner-up team and Puspita Chowdhury, Kazi Arafat Ul Islam and Ibniu Ahmed are the members of the second runner-up team.

Moderating the function, General Secretary of B-Scan Salma Mahbub said the completion was organised to find innovative ideas and realistic solutions to the problems of disabled women, whose sufferings are more than other women.

She also said the jury board members were selected from different professional groups, including investors, to turn the ideas into products for commercial use by the targeted groups.

The BWHC held discussion meetings with teachers and students of different educational institutions through its centres to highlight the day’s significance for ensuring proper hygiene for a healthy life.
