A fire has broken out at Sundarban Square Market in Dhaka's Gulistan.
The incident was reported around 10:00 am on Saturday, according to Fire Service official Talha Bin Jasim.
Eleven firefighting units were subsequently dispatched to tame the flames on the fifth floor of the market, bdnews24.com reports.
“Upon receiving the call, the first unit reached the scene at 10:03 am. Gradually, 11 units joined the operation,” said Talha.
However, the cause of the fire was not immediately clear.
