Customs and tax officials under the National Board of Revenue (NBR) will start an indefinite work abstention from Monday.
The strike will continue every day from 9:00am to 5:00pm at all NBR offices across the country.
However, services for international passengers and imports of medicines and life-saving equipment will not be affected.
Leaders of the NBR Reform Unity Council announced the programme at a press conference on Sunday.
Deputy Commissioner Abdul Kaiyum and Deputy Tax Commissioner Raisun Nesa spoke at the event.
