The written exam (MCQ type) for the special 48th BCS to recruit doctors will be held on Jul 18 as previously scheduled.
The Public Service Commission (PSC) announced the date on Tuesday, reports bdnews24.com.
The two-hour exam will begin at 10am and end at 12pm.
Previously, on May 29, the PSC published the notification for the 48th Special BCS. This BCS will recruit 3,000 doctors, including 2,700 assistant surgeons and 300 assistant dental surgeons.
Earlier, through the 39th and 42nd Special BCS, nearly 9,000 doctors were appointed.
Online application and fee submissions for the 48th Special BCS were open from Jun 1 to Jun 25.
Out of the 200 marks, 100 marks will be dedicated to the specific subject for which the candidate is taking the exam, and the remaining 100 marks will cover general subjects. The breakdown of the 100 marks for general subjects is 20 marks for Bengali, 20 marks for English, 20 marks for Bangladesh affairs, 20 marks for international affairs, 10 marks for mathematical reasoning, and 10 marks for mental ability.
