The 'theory of three zeros' popularised by chief adviser and Nobel laureate Professor Muhammad Yunus has been incorporated in the proposed national budget for FY'26 unveiled on Monday.
Presenting a Tk 7.90 trillion budget proposal, finance adviser Dr Salehuddin Ahmed said the main objective is to build a society based on the Zero Poverty, Zero Unemployment and Zero Carbon principle where everyone will have a decent life and be free from the vicious cycle of discrimination.
He said the interim government wants to leave a livable habitat for the next generation by implementing the dream with which the foundation for the July Mass Uprising was laid.
