UN nuclear watchdog’s chief says an emergency meeting due on Monday

The head of UN’s nuclear watchdog posted on X that, given the US intervention in the Israel-Iran war, he will be convening an emergency meeting of the Board of Governors on Monday.

Rafael Grossi, the director general of the International Atomic Energy Agency, has been the target of much Iranian criticism in recent days for what they describe as conflicting statements that incited Israel’s initial attack.
