Unidentified man's body recovered from river in C'nawabganj

Police recovered the body of an unidentified man from the Pagla River in Shibganj upazila of Chapainawabganj district on Friday morning.

According to the police, locals spotted the body floating in the river in Guchchagram under Durlavpur union in the morning and informed the police.

Being informed, the body was retrieved and sent it to Chapainawabganj General Hospital morgue for an autopsy, said Golam Kibria, officer-in-charge of Shibganj Police Station.

Legal action will be taken upon autopsy report, the police official said.
