Role: Project Management Assistant

Job Responsibilities

• The Project Management Assistant works in the Office of Education (EDU). The Project Management Assistant provides technical guidance, activity management, and administrative support to the Education Team to design, implement, and achieve the vision of the U.S. Government Strategy on International Basic Education to “strengthen education systems so that all children acquire the education and skills needed to be productive members of society.”
• The primary roles of the position are to 1) manage education activities as the alternate Agreement Officer’s Representative (AOR) or alternate Contracting Officer’s Representative (COR), 2) provide administrative support to the four-person Education Team in the areas of activity procurement, planning, and reporting, and 3) independently conduct activity monitoring and evaluation. The incumbent works under the supervision of the Education Team Leader (details job description can be found on the webpage)

Requirements

• Completion of a Bachelor’s degree from a recognized college or university in a field related to education, social services, development studies, business administration, or public administration is required.
• Experience Requirements: At least 3 year(s)
• Additional Requirements: Age 30 to 60 years, At a minimum, the Project Management Assistant must have three to five years of progressively responsible experience in development assistance; program design, management, and monitoring; and preparation and tracking of project documentation for an international development agency.

Salary: Tk. 168895 - 303085 (Monthly)
