25,428 BD pilgrims reach Saudi Arabia

A total of 25,428 Hajj pilgrims from Bangladesh have reached the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) until Monday morning for performing the holy Hajj.

The Ministry of Religious Affairs said until May 5 (Monday morning), 4,564 pilgrims under the government management and 20,864 under the private management have reached the KSA by 62 flights. The number of pre-Hajj flights of Biman Bangladesh Airlines is 118, while those of Saudi Airlines are 80 and Flynas 34.

The last Hajj flight is scheduled on May 31. The post-Hajj flights of Biman Bangladesh Airlines are 109 in number,while those of Saudi Airlines are 79 and Flynas 35. The first return Hajj flight will start on June 10, and return flights will continue until July 10.
