JUCSU ELECTION 2025: 299 candidates enter the fray for 25 posts

The distribution of nomination forms for the Jahangirnagar University Central Students Union (JUCSU) election concluded on Thursday, bringing the total number of candidates to 299.
Of them, 287 students collected forms on the final day, Thursday, while 87 students had done so over the previous two days.
JUCSU election chief returning officer Professor Md Rashedul Islam came up with the information at a press briefing in the university's Senate Bhaban on Thursday.
According to the schedule, withdrawal of nominations will end on August 28, the final list of candidates will be published on August 29, and voting is set for September 11.
