ACC catches fisheries officer red-handed while taking bribe

Dinajpur's Parbatipur Upazila fisheries officer was arrested from his office while accepting Tk 200,000 bribe on Tuesday.

The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) identified the official as Rezaul Karim Sarkar, according to a UNB report.

A five-member ACC team caught Sarkar red-handed when he was receiving the cheque at his office around 1pm, said ACC public relations officer Pranab Kumar Bhattacharya.
